Apostle Theodore is the Pastor and Founder of ReDigging The Foundation Ministries (RTF) in Durham, North Carolina, alongside her husband, Bishop Jason A. Theodore, and the late Elder Cynthia J. Wood.  She serves as the 3rd Episcopal District Apostle for A.M.I and provides spiritual leadership over the A.M.I National Women’s Ministry. She is also a Leadership Instructor for the A.M.I Bible Institute, where she equips emerging leaders through biblical teaching and practical leadership principles.  A former 14-year U.S Army veteran , she holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and completed her studies at the Bible Institute of A.M.I.

Apostle Theodore is the author of Deliverance is a Matter of Choice! and Birthed for Purpose!  She has also actively engaged in her community through the “ReStart Broadcast!” and “God’s Women Discussing Truth Broadcast!’ with her daughter, Chief Elder Taneesha Williams; sister-in-love, Overseer Sheila Newby; and producer, Sister Donna Chappell.  She has been broadcasting morning worship services through local television stations in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Durham, North Carolina for more than a decade.

A devoted wife to Bishop Jason A. Theodore, she is the mother of Chief Elder Taneesha Williams and Bishop Richard A. Williams Jr., and grandmother to Moses Aaron, Olivia Rose, and Leah Mae Williams. Apostle Sonja D. Theodore continues to inspire and equip God’s people through preaching, teaching, leadership, and service, remaining steadfast in her declaration: “The word of God is the only dictionary that defines me!”

Birthed for Purpose! was written to challenge, encourage, and inspire God’s creation.  This book is based on the word of God, as well as personal experiences, to illustrate several biblical teachings.  In modern Christianity, the concept of purpose is lost; nevertheless, it is important for you to know that you were not merely an accident waiting to happen, but a well-thought-out plan in the mind of God!  Purpose is something that everyone needs to know about, but very few know how to find it.  You will never understand your purpose until you develop a relationship with the one who created you. He’s the only one who can reveal to you the reason for your existence.  Satan knows that much power could be released into your life once you understand your purpose and that is why he is trying to keep you in the dark concerning your true identity.
